Life Mastery Coach • Emotional Mastery Coach • Mediator

Helping you understand what’s happening within you, heal the patterns and experiences that no longer serve you, and reconnect with the wiser, stronger part of yourself—so you can move forward with greater calm, confidence, self-trust, and joy.

About Me

Since 2004, I’ve helped people understand what is happening within them, recognize the patterns beneath their struggles, and reconnect with the wiser and stronger parts of themselves.

I believe there is a loving, enduring self within each of us—beneath the fears, old wounds, beliefs, expectations, and protective patterns we collect along the way. You might call it your Soul, your inner guidance, your essential self, or simply the most authentic version of you. I help people understand and begin clearing what stands between them and that deeper self, along with the inner noise those experiences and patterns can create.

I came to this work through my own life. I have known love, loss, responsibility, single parenthood, relationships that worked and relationships that provided abundant opportunities for personal growth, professional pressure, spiritual searching, and the ongoing process of learning to meet both myself and those around me with greater honesty and compassion.

Life has been a generous teacher, although sometimes a little overenthusiastic with the homework. My own experiences—and those people have entrusted to me—have taught me that people are not broken objects waiting to be repaired. We are human beings carrying emotional wounds and ways of protecting ourselves that usually developed for understandable reasons. Some still serve us. Others have long since outlived their usefulness but continue showing up for work every morning.

My professional background spans personal coaching, business leadership, consulting, writing, teaching, and mediation. At the heart of that experience are countless honest conversations with people working to understand what they feel, why certain patterns keep repeating, and how to create something better.

On my testimonials page, clients describe me as compassionate, understanding, generous, intuitive, open-hearted, honest, tough when necessary, and fun. That brings me great joy because those are qualities I sincerely try to bring to this work. I’m also human enough to know I won’t embody every one of them perfectly in every conversation. My goal is to listen carefully, care deeply, use intuition with integrity, speak honestly, and bring warmth and humor into the room whenever they can make difficult things easier to face.

My Mission & Intention

My intention is simple: to leave everything I affect in a better place—and to help people remember that who they truly are is much greater than what has happened to them.

I believe emotional struggles are not proof that we are broken. They are signals that something within us needs attention, understanding, compassion, or change. Fear, anger, grief, shame, anxiety, resentment, and self-doubt may be pointing toward places where we have felt hurt, unsafe, powerless, unseen, or disconnected from ourselves.

These emotions are attention seekers, and they don’t always deliver their messages in a calm, well-organized memorandum. Sometimes they pound on the door, pull the fire alarm, and refuse to leave until we finally listen. I believe the emotional and physical aspects of our lives may be far more deeply connected than is presently understood. I consider emotional well-being an important part of the whole health picture.

My mission is to help people listen to what their emotions and recurring experiences may be trying to communicate, without allowing either to define the rest of their lives.

I want every person I work with to gain greater clarity, renewed hope, stronger self-trust, and something practical they can carry into everyday life. My purpose is not to make you dependent upon me. It is to help you recognize your own wisdom, reclaim the power that still belongs to you, and move toward a life that more fully reflects your values, purpose, and capacity for joy.

What I Do

I help people understand what is happening within them and identify the emotions, beliefs, old wounds, expectations, and protective patterns that may be shaping their present experience.

Sometimes the reason for seeking help is clear: anxiety, anger, grief, self-doubt, relationship difficulties, caregiving stress, a major transition, problems with boundaries, or a goal that remains stubbornly out of reach. Other times, you simply know that something does not feel right but have no idea where to begin. You do not need to have a polished explanation. A few honest words—and perhaps “I’m not sure, but something is going on”—are enough.

We begin with what’s happening now, then look beneath the immediate problem. Old emotional wounds have a remarkable ability to return wearing different costumes. When the same feeling or struggle keeps appearing through new people and circumstances, we explore what that repetition may be asking you to understand.

We can also talk about physical symptoms and health challenges. Emotional stress can affect the body, just as physical difficulties can affect our emotions and quality of life. Research has repeatedly demonstrated that emotional and physical health are closely connected. Large prospective studies indicate that chronic stress, anxiety, and depression can contribute to cardiovascular disease, while genetic research supports a causal contribution of depression to type 2 diabetes. Other research has found that prolonged stress can disrupt immune function, increase susceptibility to some infections, slow wound healing, and contribute to inflammatory and autoimmune activity. Plainly stated, resolving—or not resolving—our emotional challenges can meaningfully affect our overall health.

Depending on your needs and what feels comfortable and appropriate to you, our work may include thoughtful questions, emotional check-ins, examining self-talk, reframing, written exercises, intentions, meditation, visualization, gratitude, stronger boundaries, and practical next steps. Insight matters, but it must eventually become something you can use when real life arrives and pushes all those crazy-making buttons.

I don’t impose one explanation, spiritual belief, or coaching formula. Your path is your own. My role is to listen carefully, help you recognize what may be difficult to see alone, offer honest perspective and useful tools that work for you, and support you as you turn greater awareness into meaningful change.

Why Choose Me?

Choosing a coach is personal. You need someone whose insight you respect and whose presence makes honesty easier—even when the truth isn’t easy to admit or accept.

Since 2004, I’ve helped people work through emotional patterns, difficult relationships, major transitions, and private struggles not always visible to others. I bring compassion, directness, intuition, and a broad range of life and professional experience to that work.

I won’t hand you a prefabricated explanation or pretend to know your life better than you do. I listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, help you recognize the blind spots we all have, and offer simple, practical tools suited to you.

I take the work seriously without requiring every moment to feel solemn. Clients have said I’m fun, and I do try to be. Looking at our inner stuff takes courage. If you bring the courage, I’ll do my best to make the process as comfortable—and even enjoyable—as possible. I want to help you gain clarity, trust yourself, use your own wisdom, and move forward with greater self-compassion and confidence.
